Melanie is the best!!  My hair was a mess. I had hair extensions that were not properly installed. My hair was clumped together, and bonded  unevenly. It looked awful..Melanie was the only one that was willing to help  after I had called nearly 20 place's. I'm so glad She was willing to help. My hair look's natural, and so beautiful. Overall I had a very professional, and welcoming experience going to this salon. I wouldn't trust anyone but Melanie with my extensions.

3rd best haircut I've ever had.  My last several experiences with other salons were terrible, but this was fantastic.  When the one stylist had some doubts about doing my style right, she went over and snagged her mentor who taught her and another stylist how to do it.  I felt right at home there.  They listen.  They explain things to me.  They explained why my hair did things and why certain cuts didn't work.  I didn't understand everything the expert stylist said, but she understood everything I said.  And every adjustment I requested made things better, not worse.  And it's significantly cheaper than other high-end salons where I've gotten a lot worse cuts.  (Not as cheap as fantastic sams or whatnot.  But unlike those, it felt like a high-end salon)

Always a great experience! My hairstylist is Emily! She does a wonderful job! The studio is always clean and staff is super sweet! One of thing things that I love about the studio is they text you a least a day before your appointment! I know that sounds silly but, when you are busy, the reminder is nice! ♥️

I've always had some anxiety when it comes to getting my hair cut & styled because I've always had poor experiences but when I first tried this place back in 2015 I was happily surprised & felt some of that hair cut anxiety go away. I've never had the same hair stylist here & all the wonderful women who've cut, colored & styled my hair have actually done a great job. I have extremely long hair that will reach passed my butt & many other places will hack off my hair to above my shoulders in the name of "dead ends" while this salon has NEVER done that. (Thank goodness) The environment is very comfortable & stylists are very friendly & always give me good hair care tips & product suggestions to keep long hair healthy in between my visits. I've moved 40+ minutes away from this salon & still continue to make the drive because I really feel like I found the only place I can trust with my hair.

Great Stylists, good prices, and friendly safe service..

Shalyn did my daughter Juliet's hair this past Thursday and we couldn't be happier with the results.  Shalyn did a new style or trend that is happening right now with blonde underneath and dark brown on top.  Shalyn explained the process of bleaching the hair might turn out with an orange hue but whatever she did worked because it turned out perfect.  The dark brown on top of the blonde is a rich chestnut color and it's so pretty worn down or pulled up.  We are all obsessed with Juliet's hair and I highly recommend going to this knowledgeable, honest, and skilled hair stylist and studio!!  Thank you, Shalyn!!!

Friendly and experienced staff.  They will offer a beverage if you have to wait, a nice touch.  If they have a trainee, will let you know and ask if it's okay if they take care of you with supervision.

Only real downside is though they say walk-ins welcome, rarely will you be able to come in without making an appointment.

Shari is the best.  I always see her for my cuts and colors she is a genius with color.  I usually do two or three colors at once and it’s always fantastic .  Everyone there is friendly and helpful . The best salon I have been too in the downriver area!

I was visiting my sister, I'm from Florida and needed a hair appointment for wash and blow dry. I liked how the appt was made then they followed up to confirm. Everyone was happy and friendly when I arrived. The salon was very clean. The salon owner was the person who did my hair (sorry I forgot your name). She gave me a neck massage, prior to washing my hair. The result was perfect.  I will return next time I'm in Michigan.

Megan was awesome.  She was personable and so sweet. She also gave me the exact cut we agreed on together! Definately coming back.

I’ll start simply by saying, I loved the relaxed atmosphere and colors. It appeared Well kept, clean and beautifully decorated.  I liked the personal touches the girls were allowed to Put at their stations.
More importantly, Kelsey did an amazing job with my hair. I came in for a full highlight and cut. She helped me achieve the look I was aiming for and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.  Highly professional and with a great sense of humor, Kelsey kept me giggling like a school girl and put the biggest smile of all on my face when I saw my results. The prices were beyond reasonable and I will be sure to recommend them to friends and colleagues!

Love this place; been coming here for years.  Melissa is awesome, professional, skillful, and always friendly and pleasant.  Never pushy, never has "bad days", just always a treat when I see her.    I've never had a better hair experience, and I have many years of experience with coloring, touchups, highlights, deep conditioning, and styling (I have very long hair).  This place is wonderful, and I will stay here as long as Melissa does!  Yay Zen!

They offer a drink and snack while you wait or whatever service you have done. They do excellant guy haircuts and are more than reasonable with the prices.

Thanks to Megan for saving my hair and fixing the massive screw up from the previous hair salon that butchered my hair.

From walking in the two women working were very friendly. I told her what had happened at the previous salon and showed her a picture of what I would like my hair to be. She was so very nice and friendly, and understood the frustration of people pronouncing our name wrong (its MEGan, not MAYgun) and a miracle worker.  She fixed my hair, made it just like the picture, and fixed the botch job of a cut i received previously.

She is an amazing stylist, I HIGHLY recommend her and this salon.
